Visually impaired (VI) runners can register for any race category and are required to find their own
running buddies. Please note that there will not be any specific training camp for VI running
buddies.
To register as a VI runner, please contact the Chinese Taipei Road Running Association (CTRRA) at
02-25855659 ext. 9. You will need to provide a registration form, registration fee (refundable after
the event), information about your running buddy, and a copy of your VI certificate.
Number of guide runners for VI participants:
According to the regulations of the International Paralympic Committee, for the full marathon, there
must be a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 guide runners; for the half marathon, a minimum of 1 and a
maximum of 2 guide runners. Only one guide runner is allowed to accompany the participant at a time,
and changes are permitted only at the 10 km, 20 km, and 30 km points.
For the 12km and 3 km categories, one guide runner is mandatory. For VI participants in the full and
half marathons accompanied by more than one guide runner, changes must be made at specified times
and locations (at the 10 km, 20 km, and 30 km points) and reported to the officials. Failure to
adhere to these regulations, including not replacing or improperly replacing guide runners as per
International Paralympic Committee rules, will result in the disqualification of the visually
impaired participant. No prizes or bonuses will be awarded, and the rights of the guide runner will
also be forfeited.
Guide runners' times will be recorded alongside those of VI participants, and guide runners will
receive a bib number at registration. If the guide runner is not the person designated in advance,
the VI participant's time will not be recorded, and they will not be included in the official
rankings.
VI participants who complete the race within the designated time will receive a waiver of the
registration fee. After finishing the race, please present your bib and identification documents at
the event service tent in Dajia Riverside Park between 9:30 and 11:30 on the day of the event. Late
arrivals will not be accommodated.
The registration deadline is October 30, 2026. If the registration limit is reached before the
deadline, no further registrations will be accepted. Our organization will not be responsible for
any late registrations due to online registration failures.
If you need to change/update your delivery address, please contact CTRRA (02-25855659) before 18 December 2026. Requests beyond this date will not be accepted.
Once a group registration has been submitted, new members cannot be added to the same registration. If you would like to add new members, please complete a new registration.

There is no waitlist once all registration slots are taken up. If you still wish to register, you will need to wait for participants in that category to cancel their registration. If you need to switch your race category after registration, you cannot directly make this change in
the system since
different categories have different fees.

refund for the original
category. After the refund is processed, which usually takes about 3 working days, you will then
be able to register
for the new category.
If you haven't made a payment yet and wish to switch to a different category that still has
available quota, you can
make this change by visiting the Chinese Taipei Road Running Association (CTRRA)'s official website.
