Helping to preserve the environment and carrying out green practices where we can is a key focus of our Standard Chartered Taipei Charity Marathon (SCTCM). We are delighted to share that our medals are made from environmentally friendly materials and designed and produced in Taiwan.
Our medal was designed by local designer Lance Han, a judge of the Golden Pin Design Awards for many years. Taking nature and sustainability as the theme, local bamboo fiber material was used as the main production component. Free of 6P plasticizers, the medals are also biodegradable, the lanyard of the medal is also made of 100% recyclable PET bottle material.
SCTCM’s exclusive bamboo fiber medal design has attracted the attention of many European countries. It will also be entered into the Reddot Awards in Germany.
