Event Overview

Unlike other running expos, RUNNER SHAKEOUT STATION is a race preparation hub specially designed for major marathon events in Taiwan.
Built around essential services such as on-site race check-in and race kit collection, the event is further expanded through collaboration with a wide range of sports-related sponsors.
This creates a special, limited-time pre-race event, giving runners the opportunity to properly prepare for race day in the days leading up to the marathon.

PAVI	The Taipei Association of Parents of Visually Impaired Children presents an experiential space under the theme “Invisible Strength.” Visitors are invited to explore a unique experience combining sports, aromatherapy, and inclusivity. On-site, visually impaired aromatherapists will personally guide participants in creating two DIY space sprays specially designed for runners: Pre-race spray: Helps relieve tension and stabilize emotions before the race. Post-race spray: Helps relax nerves and release fatigue after the race. Let the scent be your gentlest and most reliable support, both before and after the race. All courses are taught by professional aromatherapists who hold the NAHA official aromatherapy certification (USA), Taiwan Aromatherapy Health Practitioner certification, and GTi Aromatherapy certification (UK).Working in a visually impaired state, they rely on smell, memory, and countless hours of practice to overcome limitations step by step, accumulate expertise, and step confidently into the teaching environment. In addition to creating their own personalized scents, the event features a specially designed “Blindfolded Scent Experience”, inviting participants to temporarily set aside their vision and use their sense of smell to perceive, choose, and understand. This allows participants to personally experience the focus and persistence that aromatherapists rely on while learning and obtaining their certifications.This is not only a DIY course but also an inclusive exchange where roles are reversed and mutual learning occurs. Here, you will discover that not being able to see does not mean you cannot achieve, and the power of the unseen quietly supports every step forward. Join us in experiencing the power of scent and bridging distances through understanding.
