Prize Money

According to the Income Tax Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan), all cash prizes or prizes with a value exceeding TWD 20,010 are subject to tax deductions (10% of total amount for ROC citizens and 20% of total amount for non-ROC citizens). Please bring your valid ID when claiming the cash prize. Winners in the overall ranking will not be eligible for additional prizes in their respective age group rankings.

Competition Grouping

Full Marathon and Half Marathon are divided into the following 12 groups according to age and gender. In addition, there is a special group for visually impaired (VI) runners.

11 KM runners are divided into male and female groups for regular and VI runners. Four groups in total.
Note: 3 KM Fun Run group will not have their time recorded.

Top overall finishers will not be eligible for additional prizes for their ranking by age groups.

Top overall male and female finishers will be awarded cash prize and a finisher’s medal.

For marathon and half marathon competition grouping：
Cash prizes will be awarded to top two finalists with less than 50 runners; top three finalists with 51-100 runners; top four finalists with 101-200 runners; and top five finalists with more than 200 runners.
For marathon and half marathon (60 years old and above by male and female category; VI runners by male and female category), top five finalists will be awarded cash prize and finisher’s medal.
All winners must claim their prizes by 12:00 on the race day. Any delays will be deemed forfeited.
Based on anti-doping rules, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify and nullify one’s result due to doping. The Organiser shall not be obliged to refund any registration fee or award any prize under such circumstances.

Lucky Draw

The Organiser will provide lucky draw prizes to registered participants, which include free air tickets and free race entries in selected Standard Chartered marathon overseas. The draw will be made by the Organiser before the race day, and the results will be announced on the event’s official website and Facebook page. Winners must collect their prizes in person on race day, 11 January 2026, before 12:00. Any unclaimed prizes after the collection period will be forfeited. Winners must present their runner’s bib and valid government-issued identification (e.g. photo ID, driver’s license) during prize collection. Prizes with a value over TWD 1,000 will be subject to tax deduction (10% of the total amount for ROC citizens and 20% for non-ROC citizens).
